Sponsoring Legal Seminar



The Disaster Recovery Section of the Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness is sponsoring a legal seminar entitled, “Emergency Management Law.”  This seminar has been accredited with the Mandatory Continuing Legal Education Committee of the Louisiana State Bar Association for 8.0 hours of CLE credit. The seminar is designed for both public and private attorneys who represent government entities and public non-profit organizations in the area of emergency management law. The seminar will also provide essential information to emergency managers and public officials. See the agenda listed below to review the subject matter to be presented. The seminar will be held on November 2, 2007 at the Baton Rouge Area Field Office, 415 N 15th Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The registration fee is $50.
